Housing support service

Housing support services provide assistance to families who may be having difficulty securing suitable accommodation / housing. We can facilitate between family and other agencies where necessary to support families into safe, healthy and affordable accommodation.

Support is provided on a case-by-case basis to families in need, such as when a rental property is sold at short notice, when a family is relocating for work, when rents become unaffordable or when a family may be living in unsuitable conditions such as overcrowding or dampness leading to frequent or prolonged illness.

Housing support services focus on:

  • Coordinating between family and other agencies such as Housing New Zealand
  • Sourcing suitable (safe, warm, affordable) housing for families in need
